My windmill in Ericeira.

The windmill is great for recharging batteries.

It is near Lisbon while in the middle of nowhere.

The windmill it's 10 minutes from the beaches Calada and S. Lourenço, both excellent for surf and 44 minutes from Sintra, for me, one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal.

It has good and bad things. You have total privacy, is super romantic but you have a route of 800 m in a tricky climb floor. It's better to have a jeep or a car that is used to drive on all types of terrain.

It is completely self-sufficient. It has water tank and generator ... so for a period of the day has to be turned off, preferably before leaving the house and before going to sleep.

The generator consumes between 15/20 L per day if you have a semi-constant use.

It has a big barbecue with a great view. I mean the view is 360° because there's nothing around.

It has an air mattress that makes me feel completely in the clouds when you turn off the generator and turns candlelight.

It also has a stove which functions as a heater core for the entire windmill.
